“Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.” —Winston Churchill
All of us fail sometimes. That’s just a fact of life and it’s a part of being human. The real question is, are you going to let that failure define who you are? Or will you define your failure?
Churchill had a funny way of putting things, but his biting wit incisively gets to the point: failure should not dissuade you from something you’re passionate about. Because if you only love something on the condition that it’s successful, you never really loved it in the first place.
I’m not sure there’s a successful entrepreneur, crowdfunder, author, or business person who hasn’t stumbled. In fact I created Chimera Solutions out of a period of great dissatisfaction with life.
So next time you’re feeling down, just remember Churchill’s words. If you really care about your project, endeavor, business, relationship, whatever – a little failure won’t stop that enthusiasm.
